Research Focus: Generative AI and machine learning for constraint-aware thermoset shape-memory polymer design and scientific discovery.
Developed constraint-aware generative AI frameworks using conditional variational autoencoders and large language models for targeted polymer generation.
Developed supervised machine learning and deep learning models to predict polymer properties, including glass transition temperature (Tg) and rubbery modulus (Er), from molecular representations.
Designed multi-objective reward and evaluation pipelines incorporating property alignment, chemical validity, functional-group compatibility, and structural novelty.
Currently developing reward-guided reinforcement learning and tool-augmented agentic AI workflows that integrate generation, evaluation, and iterative refinement for polymer design.
Conducting ongoing research on reaction-aware generative design and structure-conditioned learning in sparsely sampled reactive polymer systems.
